Apex Legends Mobile to go offline

Respawn Entertainment has announced that it will be shuttering Apex Legends Mobile.

The studio released a statement on Twitter and said that the portable shooter’s servers will go offline on May 1.

“This decision does not come with ease. Factors beyond our control have prevented us from maintaining the high-quality experience and content that our players deserve,” the company said.

Respawn also explained that the move to shut down the mobile shooter does not affect the game on consoles and PC.

Apex Legends Mobile launched for Apple and Android devices on May 17, 2022.

The shooter generated $5 million in player revenue globally in its first week.
