Today, gaming firm Embracer Group announced that its acquisition of Crystal Dynamics, Eidos Montreal and Square Enix Montreal, various IPs – such as Tomb Raider – has completed.

The deal was originally announced in May for the purchase amount of $300 million.

As part of the purchase Embracer has acquired the rights to the Deus Ex, Thief and Legacy of Kain franchises, as well as more than 50 back catalog titles.

During Embracer’s May acquisition announcement, it shared that the Tomb Raider franchise has sold 88 million units to date, well the lifetime sales of the Deus EX series topped 12 million copies.

Although this deal has closed, the gaming firm’s M&A activity has not slowed down.

Last week, Embracer announced a few major acquisitions which included the IP rights to Lord of the Rings and Maneater developer Tripwire Interactive.
