Game industry professionals, take note: If you have an idea for a great talk about Production, Business, Marketing or Management in the game industry that would fit in well at the Game Developers Conference 2017, now is the time to submit it!
GDC 2017 organizers are now accepting submissions to present lectures, roundtables, panels, posters and tutorials through Thursday, August 18th.
This will be the 31st edition of GDC, which continues to be the world’s largest and longest-running event serving professionals dedicated to the art and science of making games. The big event happens Monday, February 27 through Friday, March 3, 2017 at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco, California, and will once again host thousands of game developers from all around the world for a week of learning, networking and inspiration.
To best serve that audience, the GDC 2017 Production track seeks lectures focused on new techniques in programming, in particular:
The Production track is looking for experienced producers who have shipped games to share their best techniques or experiences which helps them produce better games or build better teams. We are financing/genre/platform/business model agnostic – we just want the world’s best producers to share their knowledge. We are looking for case studies from everyone! Huge, tiny, startup, established: AAA console developers, Indie developers, Mobile teams, Cross-platform teams, Service teams, etc. A few project case topics the Production Track is looking for, but not limited to, are the following topics:

If you have an idea for a great talk that would fit in better with GDC’s Business, Marketing and Management track of talks, GDC 2017 organizers are of course seeking talks on those topics too!

Of course, the separate call for submissions to present talks at the GDC Summits specific to a variety of sectors within the industry, including the VRDC @ GDC track of VR-focused sessions, will open later this year and run from August 29th through September 23rd.
